Payments are processed securely by third-party payment providers. Emusio does not ordinarily receive or store your complete credit or debit card number.
Depending on the features you use and the permissions provided, we may collect or process:
Lesson notes and learning objectives
Practice assignments and progress information
Messages exchanged between teachers, students, and parents or guardians
Audio, video, or other lesson content
Lesson transcripts
AI-generated lesson summaries and practice notes
Where a lesson may be recorded, transcribed, or processed using artificial intelligence, users will be informed through the platform, the booking process, or another appropriate notice. These features should only be used with the necessary permission of the lesson participants or, where applicable, their parent or guardian.
When you register for an event, competition, audition, masterclass, newsletter, or promotion, we may collect:

Emusio allows users to register for or sign in to the platform using their Google Account.
When you choose "Sign in with Google,” Emusio may receive the following information from Google, depending on the permissions you grant:
Your name
Your email address
Your Google profile image
A unique Google Account identifier
Emusio uses this information only to:
Create and authenticate your Emusio account
Allow you to sign in securely
Identify your account and maintain your user profile
Communicate with you about your account and the services you use
Prevent fraud, misuse, and unauthorised access
Emusio does not receive or have access to your Google password. Your Google login credentials are handled directly by Google.
Emusio does not:
Sell Google user data
Use Google user data for advertising
Allow third parties to use Google user data for advertising
Access information from a user’s Google Account beyond the permissions the user grants
Use Google user data for purposes unrelated to the user-facing features described in this Privacy Policy
Information received from Google may be stored securely as part of your Emusio account.
Where authentication tokens are stored, they are protected and used only to provide the Google-connected functionality authorised by the user.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards to protect Google user data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, destruction, or loss.
We do not sell, rent, or trade Google user data.
Google user data may be shared only:
With service providers processing information on our behalf and subject to appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations
When required by law or a valid legal process
When necessary to protect the rights, security, or safety of Emusio, our users, or others
With the user’s express consent
We retain Google user data only for as long as necessary to:
Provide the Emusio service

Users may revoke Emusio’s access to their Google Account through the Google Account permissions page.
Revoking access prevents future access by Emusio but may not automatically delete information already stored within an Emusio account. Users may separately request deletion of their Emusio account and associated Google user data by following the instructions in Section 12.
Emusio’s use and transfer to any other application of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Emusio may provide features that use artificial intelligence to process lesson-related information, including audio, transcripts, lesson summaries, practice notes, and suggested learning activities.
When these features are used:
Lesson information may be securely transmitted to contracted technology or AI service providers for processing
Information is used to provide the requested lesson or learning feature
AI-generated content may contain errors and should be reviewed by the teacher or user
Users should not include unnecessary sensitive personal information in recordings, transcripts, lesson notes, or prompts
Emusio does not permit AI service providers to use lesson information for their own advertising purposes.
Information about recordings or AI processing will be provided within the platform or through an appropriate notice where required.
We do not sell, rent, or lease personal information.
We may disclose personal information to trusted service providers that help us operate Emusio, including providers of:
Website and application hosting
Cloud storage and database services

Emusio provides music education services that may be used by children and young people.
Users under 18 should use Emusio with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian. A parent or guardian may be required to create or manage the account, make bookings, provide consents, and manage payments.
Children under 13 must not independently create an Emusio account or provide personal information without verifiable consent and involvement from a parent or legal guardian.
Google Sign-In is optional. Children under 13 must not independently use Google Sign-In to access Emusio. Where an account is required for a child, it should be created or managed by their parent or guardian using an appropriate non-Google registration method.
If we become aware that personal information has been collected from a child without the necessary parent or guardian consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
